Wie zit er achter Petit Amour
When I was pregnant, I wanted to keep fit by swimming, live healthy and look good at the same time. There was no swimwear on the market that made me happy …
Sometimes two things just go great together: the realization that there is nothing nice on the market and my many years of experience as a fashion designer for swimwear and sophisticated lingerie.
The decision was made: in 2008 I founded my small and fine label petit amour.
I was very proud: My love for beautiful and durable products was fulfilled with the birth of my company and my second child.
It is important to me that women remain attractive and self-confident during pregnancy - just as they were and are before: Beautiful! Some women then become even prettier - no matter what cup size the breast changes to or their curves will round.
The baby bump can be proudly presented even more underneath comfortable but fashionable, casual conditions, regardless of whether it’s design has a friendly check, cheeky polka dots, an elegant plain color or a trendy print. Beautiful and durable products made from authentic materials make people happier.
I now make stylish swimwear for every pregnant woman – also suitable for after childbirth, for every figure, every taste and every cup size.
So far I have designed and developed more than 30 different models and had them lovingly produced in small numbers. Also children's swimwear, nursing bras, diaper bags and maternity passport covers.
I know the family-run factories that produce my items as well as I know my production chain: From the idea to the finished product inside out. This also means that I can trace back who sewed which product.
From the beginning I decided to work with the materials and resources that are available. That means: I develop new creations from high-quality, internationally known fabric collections.
This allows us to test products and designs without producing a lot of side waste and without consuming extra emissions over long distances.
All our manufacturers are BSCI Amfori certified, they meet the high international social standards. And their products are controlled by and registered with the OEKOTEX brand.
When developing the products, I have always strived for an ideal fusion of material, fashion and function. My models are constantly tested and improved and adapted to the latest techniques. In order to create only authentic products which really appeal and fit pregnant women, I exclusively work with real pregnant models, also having a fair price in mind.
All my products are designed for everyday use, stylishly designed and processed to a high standard with great attention to detail.
The collaboration between Carmen Bergmann and Jessica Puberitz is based on the desire of the two business women and mothers, of making the mothers-to-be feel confident during their pregnancy.
The outfits created by Jessica with a lot of imagination are used by Carmen’s clients during their pregnancy shoots.
Carmen loves offering special empowering photo sessions for pregnant women, in her cozy studio, where the piano music and the relaxing atmosphere transform the maternity photo shoots into real experiences.
